“The Hidden Influence Of Memory”

HiddenInfluenceOfMemory-copy

Pencil drawing by Alan Bell. The lines in this drawing are like the neural paths, within our brain, connecting categories of experience, touching on themes of passion and loss, rippling through our memory of things said and done, wished for or felt, learned or dreamed. behind the physics we we live continuously until the breath fails and the heart expires. Symbols help us to condense complex information into an image whose function is a key to opening a domain of knowledge, to meditate on, and deepen the understanding. This stream of consciousness contains more than we could possibly utilize in a single lifetime. In my view this renders us a mystery of limitless dimensions and proportions. Memory shows us that all things are connected and that there is always more to know and to thread together through an unfolding line that connects the Cosmos within our Skulls.
